Deadlock coaching: what a replay review gives you

Coaching is a review of your own matches with a top-rank player: where you lost the lane, the buys and the fights. You play every game yourself, nobody touches your account, and your rank rises with your skill. Here is how a session runs and which format to pick.

What a replay review gives you

Stats tell you that you are behind; the recording tells you why. The coach watches your game and points at specific moments: where you stood wrong in lane, when a buy came late, which fight was not worth taking, where a rotation gave the map away. Not generic tips from guides, but the mistakes you repeat match after match.

  • Lane: positioning, trades, when to push and when to give up the wave.
  • Buys: item order and timings for your match.
  • Rotations: what to do after laning, when to go for the Urn and the Mid-Boss.
  • Fights: which to take, where to stand and when to leave.

How coaching works

  1. You order the number of hours you want - they can be split across several days.
  2. The coach messages you in the order chat and agrees on the time and the channel.
  3. In the session you go through your replays together; the coach breaks down mistakes by voice and answers questions.
  4. After each session you get a written plan: the mistakes, the fixes and what to drill next. Between sessions you can keep asking in the order chat.

About coaching

How to prepare

  • Pick 2-3 lost matches where you do not understand what went wrong: mistakes repeat, and they show up better across several games.
  • Check your stats in the tracker: it is easier for the coach to start from the metric where you are below your rank average.
  • Write your questions down in advance - about heroes, buys or specific moments of a match.

Questions & answers

Do I need to share my account for coaching?

No. You play yourself and the coach reviews your recordings. Coaching does not touch Valve's boosting rules.

How much does Deadlock coaching cost?

$30 per hour. A replay review without a live session costs less and is priced per match.

Who are the coaches?

Eternus and Ascendant players who verify their rank by Steam ID before taking orders.

Will my rank go up after coaching?

It goes up when you apply what you covered in your own games. A visible shift usually takes 3-5 hours over a week or two. If you need a guaranteed rank, that is a boost, not coaching.
