How to read Deadlock stats

Deadlock stats only make sense against the average player of your own rank: that comparison shows what is actually holding you back. Here is every metric our tracker shows and the order to look at them in.

Where to see your stats

The game has a match history, but it never compares you with your own rank. Our free tracker reads public Deadlock stats from a Steam profile link and breaks down the last 30 days. No password, no account access.

What each metric tells you

Tracker metrics and what they point at
MetricWhat it showsIf you are below your rank average
Souls per minuteEconomy speed: creeps, neutrals, kills and map objectivesYou fall behind on items, and that drags everything else
Hero damage per minuteHow much pressure you actually put on enemiesYou join too few fights or stand in the wrong place
Objective damage per minuteYour share of guardians, walkers and buildingsYour team does not turn leads into map control
Last hits per matchFarm in lane and after itYou miss creeps, the main source of souls early
Denies per matchSouls you take away from your lane opponentYour opponent farms more freely than they should
KDA(kills + assists) / deathsLook at deaths first: they are the easiest to cut
Deaths per matchHow often you hand over souls and timeExtra deaths are a common reason to stall at any rank
Shot accuracyShare of hits with your main weaponDepends heavily on the hero, compare on one hero only

Next to each number the tracker shows what share of players in your rank you beat. 30% on souls per minute means 70% of players at your rank farm faster. That is the answer to what to fix first.

What order to read them in

  1. The 30-day rank curve. Rising, flat or falling - that decides whether you need to hunt for mistakes at all.
  2. Deaths per match. If you die more than your rank average, start here: every death costs souls and time on the map.
  3. Souls per minute. Economy pulls damage along with it: behind on souls means behind on items.
  4. Hero and objective damage. When the economy is fine but damage is low, the problem is positioning and fight choice.
  5. Heroes. Compare your win rate on each hero with that hero's average in your rank and keep the ones where you are above it.

How many matches you need

A win rate over five matches says nothing: one lucky win moves it by 20 points. For your overall win rate aim for 30+ matches, for a single hero 15-20. Averages like souls per minute settle faster and are worth a look after about 10 games.

What to do with a weak spot

A weak metric is a question, not an answer. Why are your souls low: leaving lane early, skipping neutrals, or simply dying more? Only the match recording shows that. Review it yourself, or hand it to a high-rank booster who sends back a voice breakdown of your mistakes.

Питання та відповіді

Where can I check my Deadlock stats?

In game - the match history. A comparison with your rank, the rank curve and your heroes over 30 days are in the free DeadBoost tracker, from a Steam profile link.

What is a good KDA in Deadlock?

One above the average for your rank and hero. There is no universal number: support heroes build KDA through assists, assassins through kills.

What matters more, win rate or KDA?

Win rate is the result, KDA is one of the causes. Wins move your rank, so find the metrics below your rank average and fix those.

Does the tracker need my password?

No. It only reads public Deadlock stats from a Steam profile link and changes nothing in your account.
