Short answer: yes. Nobody has been banned for boosting in Deadlock so far — there is no precedent. On top of that we keep every order clean: the booster connects through a VPN matching your region, your account is set to appear offline, and no cheats or third-party software ever touch the account - a booster caught breaking that rule is removed permanently.
Who plays your order matters as much as how. Every booster on DeadBoost verifies their peak rank by Steam ID before they can take orders, and only boosters with a confirmed rank above your target can pick up your order. You see who took it, chat with them directly inside the order, and can request a stream of any session.
If something goes wrong, you are not left holding the bag. Until you confirm the result, you can open a dispute right inside the order; support reads the chat and the order's match history and settles it, up to a partial or full refund. The price and the target are locked into the order at checkout, so "the rank dropped mid-boost" is our problem, not yours - the booster carries the order to the agreed sub-rank.
Piloted means a booster plays on your account while you go about your day. You never hand over your password: the booster signs in via Steam's QR flow. They open the QR sign-in on their client and send the code to your order page; you scan it in the Steam app (Steam Guard, Scan QR) and approve the sign-in. The QR lives for 10 minutes and is deleted the moment the sign-in is confirmed. Steam Guard stays on the whole time, and when the order is done you tap "Sign out on all devices" to end the booster's session. This is why the Steam Guard mobile authenticator is required for Piloted.
In Duo you play your own account in one party with the booster, and nobody ever signs in as you. Since the 2026-07-30 matchmaking patch, ranked parties are limited to one rank bracket, so the booster is matched to your current rank. Duo costs more than Piloted: the booster has to carry the game for two, and boosters who can do that reliably at your rank are a smaller pool.
A realistic pace is 3-5 matches per sub-rank at 8-12 matches a day from one booster; the exact ETA is set by the booster when they take the order, and the Priority option puts your order at the front of the queue. Inside the order you get a chat with the booster, progress pulled from the game (matches, K/D/A, sub-rank points) and streaming on request. You confirm the final rank yourself; if you don't reply within 72 hours, the order confirms automatically.
A lot of "Deadlock boost" searches end at account shops. We deliberately don't sell accounts: a bought account can be recovered by its original owner at any time, a ban takes the money and the collection with it, and your own match history, friends and inventory stay behind. Boosting raises the rank on the account you already own, which is the only asset in this trade that can't be pulled out from under you. The full comparison lives in our guide at /en/guides/buy-deadlock-account-vs-rank-boost.
Deadlock has 11 ranks, Initiate through Eternus, with 6 sub-ranks in each. The price of a boost is the sum of every sub-rank between your current and target rank: a sub-rank costs from $5.50 at Initiate up to $80 at Eternus, because matches up top run longer and far fewer boosters can play there. The calculator below shows the per-sub-rank breakdown, and the total is frozen into the order when you pay - it never changes afterwards. Options (Priority, stream, appear offline, your heroes, a specific booster) add a percentage of the base price, and a promo code applies last.

Questions about this service. General ones are in the FAQ on the home page.
The risk is real and we won't pretend otherwise - boosting is against Valve's rules. We reduce it with a VPN of your region, appear-offline mode and a strict no-cheats, no-third-party-software policy. Duo is the safer mode: the account never leaves your hands.
No, and we never ask for it. In Piloted the booster signs in via a QR code you approve in the Steam app; Steam Guard stays on. In Duo and coaching there is no account access at all.
Around 3-5 matches per sub-rank, with one booster playing 8-12 matches a day. The calculator gives an estimate for your bracket; the exact ETA is set by the booster who takes the order. Priority cuts the wait.
With PayPal - from your PayPal balance or a card linked to it; you pay on PayPal's side, we never see or store your card details. Or with crypto through the OxaPay service: USDT, BTC, ETH, TON and more coins, no fee.
Open a dispute inside the order before confirming it. Support reviews the chat and the order's match history and settles the dispute, up to a partial or full refund. The price and target rank are fixed in the order, so the booster delivers the agreed sub-rank regardless of swings along the way.
No. A bought account can be recovered by the original owner or banned, and everything you paid disappears with it. We boost the account you already own instead - see /en/guides/buy-deadlock-account-vs-rank-boost for the full comparison.
Yes, taking turns with the booster and outside ranked. Points you lose in your own ranked matches are won back only for an extra payment.
Yes, the "Your heroes" option limits the booster to heroes you choose. It costs more because it narrows the pool, but the match history on your account stays believable.
