Disturb Magic - Dispel Magic Sound Swap (Mushoku Tensei)

Turns Dispel Magic into Disturb Magic, the spell from Mushoku Tensei that breaks apart an opponent's magic. I thought it was fitting so I went ahead and did the sound+name swap.

What it changes

• Name: shows as "Disturb Magic" in the shop, tooltips, inventory and build editor. Searching "Dispel" in the shop still finds it.
• Sound: both activation sounds are replaced with audio from the anime.
  • Cast: plays every time you activate the item.
  • Buff: plays on top of the cast sound when something actually gets dispelled.
• Icon: Eris Boreas Greyrat (see credits).

This mod is purely cosmetic. It changes no gameplay values, and only you will see and hear it.

Two versions (pick one)

• Rudeus: Rudeus casts Disturb Magic.
• Orsted: Orsted casts Disturb Magic.

Install only one. Both replace the same files, so with both installed only one will take effect.

Installation

• Deadlock Mod Manager: install the version you want and enable it.
• Manual:
  1. Unzip the version you want.
  2. Rename the .vpk to a free slot, e.g. pak05_dir.vpk.
  3. Place it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\addons
  4. Restart the game.

After game updates
This mod includes a copy of the game's item-name file. If Valve adds or renames items and some names show up as raw text like upgrade_..., check back here for an updated version, or remove the mod until then.
