Build Auto-Level
Your abilities level themselves, following the ability order of the hero build you have selected.
How it works
Deadlock already marks the next ability your build wants (the "Recommended" badge you see while holding the scoreboard key). When you have an unlock or ability point and that step is affordable, the mod does the same unlock or upgrade you would click yourself.
- Waits when your build saves points for an ultimate or a 5-point tier.
- Does nothing with no build selected, with a build that has no ability order, or while spectating.
- If you change hero at the start of a match, it switches to the new hero's build.
- Never sells an upgrade itself: one step at a time, and it waits for the game to confirm each purchase before the next.
- A short note on the right side of the screen confirms each step, e.g. "Auto-Level: ability 2 upgraded to tier 1".
Moving a point
Want a point somewhere else? Right-click the upgrade within the game's 10-second undo window, as usual. The mod pauses and won't buy it back. Buy any upgrade yourself and it carries on with the build's next step, which may be that same ability again. A note stays on screen while it's paused. Unlocks still go in during the pause, since they don't cost ability points.
Compatibility
Replaces only hud_data_feed.xml, a small HUD file. It doesn't touch base_hud.xml or hud.xml, which most HUD mods use, so it runs alongside them, including QOL Lock. Works with Teammate Item Icons. If another HUD mod stopped working while you had v1.2 or older, update to the latest version.
Checking it works
Open the console (F7, enable "Dev command console" in settings) and look for lines starting with [BuildAutoLevel]. Sandbox / hero testing with free points shows the whole build applied at once.
