Clutter Be Gone

Removes clutter and improves performance by disabling various particles. Contains individual mods as well as combinations of them. Previously named "Screenspace Particles Disabler" before i created other disablers.

Individual variants/files:

• Screenspace: Disables/removes screenspace particle effects like the red low health glow, the smoke while standing on the new vents, etc
  • I was dropping 30fps while standing on vents, found the screenspace smoke particles are the reason
• Graves: Removes most of graves clutter particles, keeping only whats necessary to gameplay.
  • Requires sc_fade_distance_scale_override "4" or lower to see graves wall marker (sqookys config is higher, needs manual changing)
• City Ambient: Removes ambient particles in the city, like steam, smoke, street lights, crows, candle flames, subtle bridge buff particles (large beams are still there, dw), trooper particles like the dust when they drop, shop lightbulbs, extra plaza smoke, etc.
• Movement: Removes particles which appear during movement, like the blue double jump rings, blue dash trail, walljump and dash-jump particles, etc.
• Pickups: Removes particles from pickups like boxes and buff containers, including the beam on souls dropped from boxes and the papers of dud buff containers, but also the large beam around your character on pickup.
• Walker: Removes most of the Walkers particles, keeping only some which are necessary to see the attacks. A bit experimental
• Everything: DO NOT USE IN ONLINE MATCHES! removes ALL particles from the whole game. You cannot see attacks or most abilities.
• Clean Door: A reimplementation of Clean Doorway, with permission from the author.

The mod files also contain some combined configs for your convenience and lower vpk count


Please note that this mod predates dacooders Anti-Clutter, and after i declined helping with that mod, dacooder decided to throw insults at me. Please don't use or suport dacooders work, for fps optimisation go with Sqookys gameinfo.gi instead.
