What it does

• Sliding on the trail from Violet's Flow State (her 2) plays a song from the top.
• Hop off the trail for a moment and the song keeps going. Stay off a little longer and it fades out.
• Get back on the trail within 10 seconds and it picks up where it left off instead of starting over.
• The song has its own volume slider in Settings > Audio > Slide song (Violet). 50% is the normal level; higher is louder.
• The song maker also lets you set how long you can hop off before it stops and how fast it fades.

Volume slider

The song gets its own slider in Settings > Audio, right under Voice chat. 50% is the normal level; turn it up to 100% for up to +12 dB louder, or down to make it quieter.

Download

The download comes with Tokyo Drift as the song so it works out of the box. Want a different song? Use the song maker linked above.

Install

1. Unzip the download. Inside is one .vpk file.
2. Add it in your mod manager, or copy it to Deadlock\game\citadel\addons and rename it to a free slot such as pak20_dir.vpk.
3. Play Violet and slide on your Flow State trail.

Good to know

• Only one slide song can be active at a time.
• Built to survive game updates: it adds its own sound files and doesn't replace any of Violet's sounds or the game's sound logic. It only touches two small files, the sound-event list (soundevents/soundevents_manifest) and panorama/layout/hud_screen_effects_low_health, so other mods that replace those two files will clash with it.
