Dante (DMC3 & DMC5) for Shiv

Shiv becomes Dante, with a choice of his Devil May Cry 3 or Devil May Cry 5 look.

- Rebellion over his shoulder and Coyote-A in his gun hand, with a break-open reload.

- Dante's voice for ability casts, kills, killstreaks, pain, death and hero select, using Himawari963's voice pack. Some original Shiv lines remain.

- A Devil May Cry style meter that climbs from D to SSS as Shiv's rage builds.

- Dante portraits, icons and select art (DMC3: EzKay-Art fan-art portraits and a render of the DMC3 model).
DMC5: choose Doctor Faust Hat or No Hat.
Choose one character version at a time. These are cosmetic replacements using Shiv's existing gameplay and animations.

Install

In Deadlock Mod Manager, choose DMC3, DMC5 Hat or DMC5 No Hat. Disable the previous Dante/Shiv skin before switching versions.

For a manual install, close Deadlock and copy the chosen archive's pak63_dir.vpk into Deadlock/game/citadel/addons. Use an unused pak number if 63 is already taken. Your mod setup must load the addons folder. Keep only one Dante character VPK enabled; follow the included README for details.

Rage meter music and announcer — optional

The separate Dante_Shiv_Rage_Meter_Sound_OPTIONAL.zip adds Subhuman, rank-change stings and the DMC5 announcer through an external Windows companion. It needs local setup: add -condebug to Deadlock's Steam launch options, extract the companion, and run Start Dante Music.bat while you play. Its README explains setup and volume controls. Music is not embedded playback in the character VPK, and the skin and visual meter work without the companion.
