Hidden graphics settings for Deadlock

Graphics Lab adds its own section to Deadlock's standard settings menu with graphics options the game hides, one-click presets and a 4:3 aspect ratio option. Most of them are built-in console variables (ConVars) that you would otherwise change through the console or config files. The mod does not replace textures, skyboxes or other game files.

✦ FEATURES

• Presets: Minimum / FPS · Readability · Balanced · Quality. They never touch resolution, display mode, FPS cap, latency or camera.
• Camera: aspect ratio slider (default 2.4) with quick picks Auto / 4:3 / 16:10 / 16:9 / 2.4.
• 4:3 in the stock Aspect Ratio row.
• Textures: extended blur range 0–4, texture filtering up to 16x.
• Lighting & shadows: Distance Field AO, sun shadow distance and cascades, viewmodel shadows, lamp shadows, dynamic shadow resolution, lamp shadow map scale, distance fields.
• Effects & particles: particle lights, particle detail, effect fallback, cable shadows, own bullet tracers.
• Readability: highest hero model detail, ragdoll limit, blood, 3D menu quality.
• Tooltip on every setting. Languages: EN / RU / UA / CN.

Options reflect the game as of October 26, 2026. Availability and behavior may change between game updates.

✦ INSTALLATION

1. Choose ONE language VPK: EN, RU, UA or CN. Do not install more than one.
2. Deadlock Mod Manager: install the selected VPK through the manager — it renames the file for you.
2. Manual: rename the VPK to pakXX_dir.vpk (unused two-digit number, e.g. pak29_dir.vpk) and place it in Steam\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\addons. Manual installation requires addon loading to be configured; creating the folder alone does not enable mods.
3. Remove any older copies of Graphics Lab. Do not overwrite another mod's VPK.
4. 4:3 is already included — no separate 4:3 mod needed. Avoid other mods that replace the settings menu.
5. Using a QOL mod? Save its settings separately through that mod's interface.
