Minimap Health Rings

See remaining health at a glance with color-coded arcs around other players on the minimap.

FEATURES

• Green at 50% HP or higher.

• Yellow from 25% HP to below 50%.

• Red below 25% HP.

• Arcs shrink as health drops and grow as health recovers.

• Increased spacing from the original marker circle.

• A thin light-gray inner outline for added contrast.

• No ring for your own player.

• No HP numbers or percentage labels.

• Rings are hidden for dead players, unavailable health, or ambiguous player matches.

INSTALLATION

1. Close Deadlock.

2. Download Minimap-HP-Rings-1.0.0.zip.

3. Open Mods Library in Deadlock Mod Manager and choose Add Local Mod.

4. Select the ZIP, or extract it and select pak01_dir.vpk.

5. Add and enable the mod.

6. Launch modded Deadlock through the manager.

Read the included README.md or READAME.md for migration and uninstall instructions. Do not replace the game's main pak01_dir.vpk.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod replaces:

panorama/layout/hud_minimap.vxml_c

panorama/layout/citadel_hud_top_bar_player.vxml_c

Other HUD mods replacing these files may conflict.

Based on game layouts extracted on October 7, 2026. Later game updates may require a rebuild.

VALIDATION STATUS

Earlier diagnostic builds were tested in bot matches for player matching, drawing, damage, healing, and maximum-health changes.

The packaged revision passed synthetic-panel tests and VPK integrity checks. Final inner-outline visuals, actual FPS improvement, and end-to-end Mod Manager import still need in-game verification.
