Homelander

His mod turns Deadman Danny into Homelander from The Boys. Only visuals and audio change: abilities, damage, hitboxes and balance stay exactly as Danny's.

WHAT CHANGES

Model

• Homelander in his suit, with his own face and proportions, replaces Danny

• The jetpack is removed, along with the glow on the back

• The launcher is replaced with a Vought International Compound V canister: both hands sit on its handles, with the right hand clenched into a fist

• Head and neck sit upright over the shoulders in every animation (no more forward-craned neck)

• Forearms and hands are adjusted to Homelander's proportions

Cape

• The cape moves in every animation: it sways while idle, trails behind when running, flutters on dashes, slides and flight, and lifts when falling

• The cape doesn't clip through the legs or body

• The cape has a dark red inner lining

Effects

• Shots fire from his eyes as red lasers

Sound

• Ultimate: a Homelander voice line from the show (replaces all of Danny's ultimate voice lines; background moaning removed)

UI

• Hero name: Deadlander

• New name logo on the hero select screen

• New hero portraits everywhere (hero card, hero select, small icons)

• New hero select pose: Homelander hovering in the air with clenched fists and his cape flowing

• New icons for all four abilities:

  1 - Homelander portrait

  2 - Homelander on one knee

  3 - eye lasers

  4 (ultimate) - Homelander carrying his victim into the sky

INSTALLATION

• Via Deadlock Mod Manager

• Or manually: copy pak29_dir.vpk to

  Steam\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\addons\

  (if pak29 is already taken by another mod, change the number, e.g. pak35_dir.vpk)

COMPATIBILITY

• Conflicts with mods that change Deadman Danny's model, animations, portraits, ability icons or sounds

• If another mod replaces the hero names file, the Deadlander name may not show up in the English client; the default name stays instead

• Client-side only: other players see regular Danny unless they have this mod installed
